Watermarking

 

Tanguy manages the Television and Radio audience measurement product lines based on audio watermarking technology developed by the Watermarking and Synchronized Experience Unit that Kantar Media acquired from Civolution in 2014. This unit has close to a decade's experience in digital audio watermarking applied to audience measurement. Audio watermarking consists in embedding an imperceptible audio signal in the tone of a TV or radio broadcast to identify the broadcaster, the content and the time of broadcast.

After an advanced graduate diploma in computer science at IFSIC in Rennes, Tanguy was involved in the creation of the Nextamp company as Engineering Director to develop solutions based on new technologies, video and audio watermarking. Nextamp company has been pretty successful and was successively acquired mid 2005 by Thomson, mid 2012 by Civolution where Tanguy became the Product Manager of the audio watermarking product lines both for Audience Measurement and Synchronization.
